SELF EMPLOYMENT PROGRAMMES IMPLEMENTED THROUGH DIC |

. Prime Minister’s Rojagar Yojana (PMRY W.E.F 2007-2008)
(a) Scheme : All economically viable activities in industries/Service/Business Sector including Agriculture and allied activities.
(b) Project Cost: Industries/Service Project up to Rs.5.00 lakhs.
Business Projects upto Rs.2.00 lakhs.
(c) Partnership Projects : Up to Rs.10.00 lakhs
(d) SHG (Comprising of 5-20 educated unemployed youth) There is no upper ceiling.
Eligibility Criteria : I) Age : General Category : Between 18 to 35 years as on date of application. 10 yrs age relaxation for SC/ST/Women/Ex-serviceman category.
ii. Qualification : Class VIII pass
iii. Family Income : Maximum annual family Income : Maximum annual family Income Rs.1,00,000/- or less.
iv. Default to Bank/Financial Institutions: Family defaulting to any bank/Financial Institution is ineligible. A person directly assisted under other subsidy linked Govt. scheme is also ineligible.
(d) Subsidy : 15% of the Project cost limited Rs.12,500/- per entrepreneur.For SHG Subsidy is Rs. 15,000/- per beneficiary with ceiling of Rs. 1.25 lakhs per group. |

Small Scale Industries Sector:
a. Entrepreneurs with 18 years and above can apply to set-up feasible small scale industries unit.
b. Assistance provided:
i. Recommendation of allotment of land
ii. Recommendation for availing financial assistance from financial Institutions/scare raw materials.
iii. Provision of sub-sody as per eligibility by the Govt. according to IPR
iv. Subsidy under special employment package in favour of Industrial Unit in priority sector.
v. Facilitation litation of single window system
vi. Dev. Of Industrial clusters and growth center. |

IT KIOSKO:
a. Project cost : Minimum Rs.60,000/- to maximum Rs.1.85 lakh
b. Age : Above 18 years and maximum 35 years
c. Qualification : Minimum HSC passed or equivalent
d. Subsidy : 25% of the project cost limited to Rs.25,000/-
e. Eligibility : Individual enterprises. |

Rural Employement generation programme (REGP)
a. Scheme : All economically and viable activities in Industries and service sector
b. Project cost : Minimum Rs.0.50 lakh to maximum Rs.25.00 lakh
c. Age : Above 18 years up to 55 years.
d. Individual Artisans/entrepreneurs:
SHGs are eligible
e. The Unit should be located in rural areas.
f. Eligiblity for margin money: General Category : 25% of the project cost.
Weakers section : 30% of the projects cost up to 10 lakh
10% above Rs.10.00 lakh up to Rs.25.00 lakh. |
